Children's drawing competition "Gorjuš Pokora!" applications are being accepted in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
In the heart of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a unique opportunity awaits young artists aged 5 to 11. The "Proud of Victory!" children's drawing competition, set to take place on March 13, 2025, invites children to express their respect for war heroes through their creative talents.
Submissions can be in various forms, with no limitations on the materials used or the mediums chosen. Be it paper, poster board, cardboard, or canvas, and whether it's watercolor, tempera, pencils, or something else, every child's unique interpretation of the theme is welcome.
The venue for this inspiring event is the "Yunost" Children's Creativity House, located at Ocean Street, 125. The deadline for submissions is set for March 10, 2025, giving children plenty of time to create their masterpieces.
On March 13, a jury will gather to review the drawings. As of now, there is no information available regarding who will be part of the jury.
The theme of the competition is Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This historical event holds significant importance in Russian history, making this competition a meaningful way for children to learn about and honour their nation's past.
The winners and runners-up of the competition will receive diplomas, and their mentors will receive letters of appreciation.
