Circled Search adds an unexpectedly useful new function that we didn't realize we were missing

In a move aimed at making digital communication more accessible, Google has announced the rollout of a new feature for its Circle to Search service. This feature, a continuous real-time translation function, will make it easier for users to understand text on the go, whether in social posts or when browsing products online in unfamiliar languages.

Starting this week, the continuous real-time translation feature will be available on select Android devices and Galaxy phones. The rollout began on September 4, 2025, with Samsung Galaxy devices, with broader availability planned on other Android devices in the following weeks.

To initiate the translation feature, users can long-press the home button or navigation bar, tap the "Translate" icon, and press "scroll and translate." Once activated, the feature will remain consistent while scrolling or switching pages, enhancing the user experience across social media.

In addition to the continuous real-time translation feature, September also sees the rollout of a lineup of features for Android users. These include the ability to listen to the same track simultaneously with multiple Bluetooth headphones, and the option for Android users to pair multiple LE Audio Bluetooth headphones to one phone.

Moreover, the Pixel 6 series and the Pixel Tablet will receive the Material 3 Expressive update, allowing users to customize their home screen, contacts, and calling experience. Android users can also create an Android bot that resembles them and design custom stickers.

This new translation feature is intended to enhance the user experience, especially when dealing with foreign languages. Google is making real-time translation on Circle to Search continuous for Pixel and Android users, marking a significant step towards breaking language barriers in the digital world.
