City Burglaries on the Rise Within Urban District
In the past few days, the city of Mönchengladbach has seen a series of burglaries, with the latest incident occurring on Hildstraße, Pongs.
The Mönchengladbach Police are currently investigating the burglary that took place between September 7th, 10 AM and September 8th, 7 PM. The nature of the stolen items in this case is currently unclear.
Previously, several tools and an electronic device were stolen from a burglary on Straße Am Kammerhof in Odenkirchen on September 7th, between 8 AM and 4:20 PM. Another burglary occurred on Venner Straße, where several tools were stolen from a construction site between September 5th, 5 PM and September 7th, 12 PM.
The identities of the perpetrators involved in these incidents have not been fully disclosed. For the supermarket robbery on August 19, 2025, two unknown men fled the scene, one wearing a cap and light jeans and escaping on a bicycle, while the other had a beard and wore a black undershirt. For the armed jewelry store robbery on August 9, 2025, three armed men were involved, and a third suspect has been apprehended, but their name or full identity has not been disclosed.
