City Library's September Proposal
The City Library of Dormagen has an exciting lineup of events planned for September at Marktplatz 1. From storytelling sessions to literature meetups and a book swap, there's something for everyone.
On September 2nd, 12th, 16th, and 30th, children can enjoy Storytime with Lesepass. This engaging event is free for all and provides an opportunity for young minds to immerse themselves in the world of books. Children can collect stamps for each session they attend, with a surprise awaiting them after six stamps.
On September 3rd, the Storytelling and Literature Café will take place from 3 to 4:30 pm. Neusser author Reinhold Peter will be the guest, sharing his love for literature and stories. Participation in this event is free, and a small fee of €1 covers coffee and tea, which are offered on a donation basis.
On September 5th at 7 pm, there will be a reading with Jürgen Wiebicke titled "First Aid for Democracy-Defenders". This thought-provoking event is not to be missed.
The Literature Meetup for book lovers will take place on Wednesday, September 24th, from 10:00 to 11:30 am. While the featured book has not been announced yet, it will be published on the city library's homepage. This event does not require prior registration and costs one euro.
On Friday, September 17th, from 3 to 5 pm, the Crafting Meetup will take place. This event is suitable for both beginners and experienced crafters, and participation is free. No registration is required.
The book swap event will take place on Saturday, September 27th, from 10 am to 2 pm. Participants can bring their own bag or purchase one at the City Library. The cost for all items in the bag is €5 per bag.

Finally, the Summer Reading Club's closing party will take place on September 19th at Café micado. Details about this event will be announced soon.
