City marks 75 years of DARC with a grand anniversary celebration taking place this Saturday in the central district.
Next Saturday, your city's downtown will transform into a tech haven, dedicated to the German Amateur Radio Club e.V. (DARC) and its 75th anniversary. The city hall will serve as the hub for tech enthusiasts from 10 am to 5 pm, offering an extensive lecture program, exhibitions, and information booths.
This city event, a service of your city marketing, aims to provide news from your city, the district of Kassel, and the North Hesse region. Mayor Henry Richter has praised the significance of DARC, calling it a symbol of innovation, education, and community.
In cooperation with the city's fire department and the city's emergency and crisis communication department, an exhibition will demonstrate the importance of amateur radio in times of crisis. This will provide a unique opportunity to understand the role of amateur radio in emergency situations.
