City of Pforzheim Grants Honorary Citizenship to Manfred Bader
Manfred Bader, a renowned figure in the city of Pforzheim, was awarded the highest recognition of the city - honorary citizenship - on July 13, 2018. This prestigious honour was bestowed upon Bader in recognition of his selfless commitment to the city and its youth over several decades.
Bader, born in 1933, served as a voluntary city councilor in Pforzheim for 24 years. His dedication to the city extended beyond politics, as he also founded the Manfred Bader Foundation in 1978. This foundation finances a non-denominational and politically independent youth meeting and education centre in Pforzheim, known as "Kupferdächle."
