Emily Wolff and Paul Weckman are the masterminds behind Otto's at 521 Main St., Frida 602 at 602 Main St., Larry's at 536 W. 9th St., The Standard at 434 Main St., and Mama's on Main at 621 Main St. Each venue exudes its own unique aesthetic, providing a diverse gastronomic experience for the city's residents and visitors alike.
Their journey began right out of college, when they opened Otto's with infant twins in tow. Since then, they have expanded their empire, each new venture a testament to their passion for place, people, and community.
Paul Weckman, with his background in agricultural economics and finance, brings culinary skills learned from his mother, a New York native, to their restaurants. His talents in the kitchen and behind the scenes have helped turn ideas into institutions. Emily Wolff, an artist, has left her mark on the city as well. Her work can be seen in the 6th Street train underpass in MainStrasse Village, a shining example of tactical urbanism.
Patrick Duffy, the Covington Business Retention and Expansion Manager, is a fan of their artistic contributions. He chose the underpass as the location for his engagement photographs, capturing the essence of Covington's transformation.
