City's New Education Venture: Tutoring services for primary to high school pupils, under the name Bakis
In our city, a new opportunity for extracurricular learning has emerged. Umit Bakis, a resident of our community, has established Bakis Tutoring, offering creative painting courses for children and young people up to 14 years old.
Bakis Tutoring aims to cater to individual learning needs, as Umit believes the current classroom size does not allow for this. The approach of Bakis Tutoring combines flexibility with structure, using the Pomodoro Technique to provide targeted support and promote independent learning.
The course system at Bakis Tutoring includes creative painting courses for children and young people. These courses do not require any specific level of experience and aim to foster creativity, concentration, relaxation, and fine motor skills. During the Saturday painting courses, young participants experiment with colours, shapes, and different materials in a relaxed atmosphere.
Lessons are held weekly or daily, depending on demand and the booked system. Group lessons are held in concentrated 25-minute intervals, followed by a 5-minute break, allowing students to learn at their own pace. New students can join or leave during the breaks in group lessons.
Bakis Tutoring offers a free trial lesson, which can be requested. The course system starts at 119 euros per month and is cancellable monthly. The Saturday painting courses take place on Saturdays from 2 to 3:30 pm or 3:30 to 5 pm.
