Prepare for a magical experience as the Festival of 1000 Lights illuminates Godewind Park in Travemünde from September 14-16. This enchanting event takes place daily from 5 PM to 10 PM.

The festival is a celebration of atmospheric illuminations, artistry, live music, and art. As night falls, the trees, lake, and meadows transform into a sparkling sea of lights, creating a breathtaking sight for all to behold.

The colorful light installations at the festival use pure LED shine, ensuring a vibrant and energy-efficient display. The evening sky will be further illuminated by a laser show instead of fireworks, offering a unique and mesmerising spectacle.

Children can join in the fun too! They can create and paint light glasses and stars for free during the festival. Their artistic creations will be displayed in the adjacent Lichterstadt for additional magical moments.

For those with a taste for adventure, the festival offers international cuisine from various food trucks. Delicious culinary delights are available throughout the event, catering to a variety of palates.

The band "TenToGo" provides mood-enhancing music at various locations on Friday and Saturday, adding to the festive atmosphere. Please note that the specific band playing on Friday and Saturday in Travemünde was not explicitly named in the search results provided.
