Collaborative Efforts of the EU and its Member States Persist for Environmental Sustainability Advancement
The Austrian Federal Administration is hosting the SDG Dialogue Forum 2025, a follow-up event to Agenda 2030, which was adopted internationally ten years ago. This forum aims to stimulate a strengthened joint implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and discuss challenges and concerns for the remaining years until 2030 and beyond.
The forum will take place in October 2025 and will feature a keynote speech, a panel discussion, and an interactive exchange in the World Café format. The panel discussion will include esteemed participants such as Taiwo Afolabi, an interdisciplinary artist and researcher; Frederike Berje, head of arts for the MENA region at the Goethe-Institut Cairo; and Michael Cooper, director of the Centro Colombo Americano de Medellín.
Austria has been actively engaged in the field of sustainable development for many years, and the BKA and BMEIA are part of the interministerial working group on "Implementation of Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development". The forum will pursue a transparent and participatory multi-stakeholder process in the implementation of the SDGs.
Registration for the forum will be possible with a timely invitation that will include the detailed program. Interested parties can contact [email protected] for more information. The forum will also initiate a discussion and reflection on action options in the context of the current government program 2025-2029.
SDG Watch Austria is a cooperation partner for the SDG Dialogue Forum 2025. The forum will provide further information in a PDF document, which can be accessed on the Austrian Federal Administration's website.
For those with questions or seeking more information, the contact email [email protected] is available. The forum aims to encourage a collaborative approach to sustainable development and invites all interested parties to join the discussion.
