Collaborative Metal Anthem: Amy Lee, Courtney LaPlante, and Poppy Unite for "End Of You" in New Single Release
In a groundbreaking collaboration, three powerhouse vocalists have come together to create a new metal anthem. "End Of You" features Amy Lee of Evanescence, Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox, and Poppy. The single was released today, September 4, via Sumerian Records.
The news of this collaboration was first teased last week with a series of cryptic social media posts. On Tuesday, August 26, photos of the three vocalists together were shared on their respective accounts, sparking excitement among fans. On Thursday, August 28, each account uploaded a snippet of the song's music video with the caption "End Of You".
"End Of You" is not just a one-off collaboration. It will be featured on Evanescence's upcoming album, which is tentatively scheduled for a 2026 release. This upcoming album will also include the previously released singles, "Afterlife" and "Fight Like A Girl".
Evanescence, Poppy, and Spiritbox have all performed at the Louder Than Life festival in the past. Poppy will serve as support for Evanescence's September concerts, which will take place between a show supporting My Chemical Romance and a stop at Louder Than Life.
Interestingly, Poppy and Spiritbox have crossed paths before, performing together at the US festival Louder Than Life in September 2020. Last year, Poppy also released her latest album, Negative Spaces, via Sumerian Records, the same label that represents Evanescence, Spiritbox, The Smashing Pumpkins, Slaughter To Prevail, and Animals As Leaders.
In a twist of fate, at the Grammy Awards in February, Courtney LaPlante was mistaken for Poppy during a red carpet interview. Despite the confusion, the two vocalists have now united to create a powerful and unique sound.
Evanescence has announced North American headline concerts for September, promising an exciting lineup of performances.
