Fatal Crash in Richland County, Wisconsin: UTV and Pickup Truck Collide
Tragedy struck in Richland County, Wisconsin, on Thursday, as a crash between a UTV and a pickup truck resulted in two fatalities. The incident occurred at the intersection of County Highway CC and Hanko Drive.
According to the authorities, the UTV, driven by James Koelker, failed to yield at a stop sign, leading to the collision. Koelker and his passenger, Sandra Koelker, were not responsive following the impact.
First responders arrived at the scene after a 911 call and managed to extract James Koelker and Sandra Koelker from the UTV. Desperate attempts to revive them with life-saving measures were made, but unfortunately, they were not successful.
Officials confirmed that both James Koelker and Sandra Koelker died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the pick-up truck involved in the crash has not been publicly identified. No further information about the occupants of the pick-up truck was provided.
The sheriff's office requested Med Flight due to an unresponsive occupant of the UTV. The pickup truck driver struck the UTV, causing it to roll down the road.
