In the city of Hagen, a surprising incident occurred on Saturday morning around 07:45, at the intersection of Herdecker Straße / Becheltestraße. A 17-year-old girl and a 24-year-old woman, both riding e-scooters along Herdecker Straße, collided with a traffic light pole located on the median.

The pair were using the bike lane at the time of the accident. The 17-year-old girl was handed over to her parents, while the woman sustained injuries, including a swollen nose, upper lip, and lost at least one tooth.

The Hagen Police have taken charge of the situation, and both individuals involved in the e-scooter incident have been charged. The woman admitted to consuming ecstasy before the ride and regularly using cannabis. A drug test and subsequent blood sample were taken from the woman after medical treatment at a hospital. The companion of the woman also tested positive for drug use, and a blood sample was taken from them.
