Collision Involving an Electric Scooter: Polish Politics Update
In Celle, Germany, an accident occurred on Fuhrberger Straße on August 28, 2021, at approximately 20:30. The incident involved a 21-year-old woman driving a Golf and a 31-year-old man on an e-scooter.
According to the Police Inspectorate Celle, who transmitted the information via news aktuell, the woman was attempting to turn right from Jacobiweg into Fuhrberger Straße when the collision occurred. The man on the e-scooter was coming from the right on the bike lane at the time.
Initial findings suggest that both parties slowed down but continued and collided. As a result, both vehicles sustained property damage. The e-scooter rider sustained minor injuries and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. A blood sample was taken for further investigation.
The police are investigating the accident for reckless endangerment and bodily harm. The investigation leader of the accident has not been publicly disclosed.
