Collision results in injuries for five individuals (LPI-G incident)
On November 17, 2024, at around 15:45, a collision involving a Honda and a BMW occurred on the B2 near the Dorna junction in Gera. The news was transmitted by the Gera Police Inspectorate.
The driver of the Honda was a 68-year-old individual, while the driver of the BMW was not specified. The incident left the two occupants of the Honda, a man and a woman aged 68 and 62 respectively, with light injuries. The three occupants of the BMW, a man, a woman, and a 2-year-old child, also sustained light injuries.
All injured parties were taken to the hospital for treatment. The Gera Police Inspectorate, led by Inspector Michael Schneider, is currently investigating the accident. Witnesses are asked to call them on 0365 / 829 -0, with reference number 0297435/2024.
The accident resulted in a partial closure of the area. Both vehicles sustained such damage that they had to be towed away. The Gera Police Inspectorate has not provided any new information about the condition of the road or the closure at this time.
