Committee's Involvement in Preparatory Works
In the heart of Gießen, commuters will notice a change in their daily bus journeys starting from Monday, August 25, 2025. Due to repair work on the district heating pipeline in Wolfstraße/Pestalozzistraße, Bus Line 7 will be operating on a detour route.
The repair work is being carried out by the local utility company or municipal services responsible for infrastructure maintenance. As a result, the "Pestalozzi School" bus stop in Pestalozzistraße will not be served during this period.
To accommodate passengers, a temporary bus stop will be set up in Curtmannstraße. Bus Line 7 will be rerouted via Curtmannstraße in both directions for the next two weeks, until at least Friday, September 5, 2025.
