Daniel De Jesus Krueger Appointed as Vice President and Head of Creative at StockX
Company StockX names a new creative director
Daniel De Jesus Krueger, a seasoned creative professional with a rich background in sports, culture, and media, has been named as the Vice President and Head of Creative at StockX, the leading sneaker and streetwear resale platform.
Krueger joins StockX following a stint at Fulwell Entertainment, formerly known as SpringHill Company, where he led creative and storytelling for the HBO show "The Shop". Prior to Fulwell, Krueger worked with Nike Brand Studio through James's and Carter's media platform Uninterrupted, overseeing the LeBron and Kobe brands.
Krueger's passion for sneaker and streetwear communities, coupled with his deep work with influential voices in culture, sports, and music, has made him a perfect fit for StockX, according to Nick Karrat, the new chief marketing officer at StockX who joined the company last year.
In his new role, Krueger will be based in Chicago but will travel to the Detroit headquarters of StockX regularly. He will be responsible for driving the creative direction of the platform, which, in addition to sneakers, also serves as a resale platform for apparel, accessories, and collectibles.
StockX is known for its trend reports tracking the value of top brands and products at resale. The company has recently seen changes in leadership, with Greg Schwartz becoming the CEO on Jan 1, succeeding Scott Cutler. Scott Cutler remains with StockX as an advisor.
It's important to note that a lawsuit between Nike and StockX over counterfeit goods is heading to trial. (Recommended Reading: Nike, StockX counterfeit lawsuit will head to trial by Laurel Deppen)
Krueger's tenure at StockX comes at an exciting time, as he will be instrumental in expanding the platform's consumer-facing brand, which includes live events, merchandise, and collaborations, much like he did at SpringHill with "The Shop".
Before his time at StockX, there is no publicly available information about Krueger's previous employers. However, he did work at creative agency Laundry Service, now called Wasserman, where he led art direction for the T-Mobile and Major League Baseball partnership and helped launch House of Hoops.
With Krueger's addition to the team, StockX is poised to continue its growth and innovation in the resale market.
