Company SVE expands team, honoring achievements and collective victories of eight team members
SV Elversberg Bids Farewell to Eight Departing Players
The sports director of SV Elversberg, Nils-Ole Book, has announced that eight players will be leaving the team at the end of the 2024/2025 season. The departures of Maurice Neubauer, Luca Dürholtz, Paul Stock, Arne Sicker, Frederik Jäkel, Fisnik Asllani, Elias Baum, and Muhammed Damar leave a significant mark on the team.
Maurice Neubauer, who has been a member of the team since 2020, played 165 competitive games for the SVE. Luca Dürholtz, active with the team from 2018 to 2021 and returning in 2022, made a total of 159 appearances. Both players have significantly contributed to the club's sporting development.
Paul Stock made 52 appearances for the SVE over two seasons, while Arne Sicker and Frederik Jäkel each made 19 appearances over the same period. Elias Baum played 37 games during the just-concluded season, and Muhammed Damar and Fisnik Asllani played 34 and 37 games, respectively.
The loan players significantly contributed to the SVE's third-place finish and most successful year in the club's history. Ole Book emphasizes the exceptional team spirit this season, with all players giving a lot for the club and for each other.
Despite the farewells, Ole Book acknowledges that they are not easy. He expresses gratitude for the players' contributions and wishes them all the best in their future endeavors. The SV Elversberg team concluded their 2024/2025 season with a sense of loss but also with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
