Competition's Grand Finale Scheduled in Dresden from 31st July to 3rd August.

The city of Dresden is set to host the FINALS 2025, a four-day extravaganza of summer sports, from July 31 to August 3, 2025. A total of 20 sports will hold their German Championships at nine sports venues in the city centre.

The action-packed schedule includes a variety of events. Tickets are required for the fencing competitions with foil, épée, and sabre in the BallsportARENA, where single-day tickets or three-day tickets can be purchased online. However, many competitions, such as Breaking, 3x3 basketball, speed climbing in front of the Frauenkirche, archery, and the finish of the triathlon in front of the Semperoper, can be visited free of charge.

The German Team Championships in badminton will take place in the BallsportARENA on Sunday, 3 August. The badminton event on the same day is also open to the public free of charge. For those who wish to support the badminton community, donation tickets are available at events.vereinsticket.de.

The athletics competitions in the Heinz-Steyer-Stadion are already sold out for Saturday, but tickets are still available for Sunday. Tickets are also still available for the multi-event competitions and the 5,000 metres on Thursday and Friday. Admission is free in the stands on Thursday and Friday.

The JOYNEXT Arena will host the German Championships in apparatus gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline gymnastics, and sports acrobatics. The top individual athlete at the Artistic Gymnastics 2025, which took place from July 31 to August 3, is not explicitly named in the available sources, but the competition featured the best German gymnasts competing in all-around and apparatus events.

Interactive activities for sports enthusiasts can be found mainly in the Finals Park, located in the Ostra Sports Park. Many clubs, associations, and institutions from the region will be present in the Finals Park, inviting participation.

The Sportpark Ostra with Heinz-Steyer-Stadion, JOYNEXT Arena, Teamsport Arena, and BallsportARENA are among the sports venues. Other sports venues are located at the Frauenkirche, on the Elbe riverbank, at the Semperoper, in the Hafencity, and at the Alberthafen.

It is recommended to travel to the FINALS by bus and train, as the competition venues are mostly within walking distance of each other. For children and young people, discounted entry tickets are available for all ticket categories.

For more information, please visit www.diefinals.de. A total of 100 city-light posters throughout the city will indicate the event from July 22. It is important to note that Theatre Square and Augustus Bridge will be temporarily closed on certain days leading to detours for lines 3, 4, 7, and 9.

ARD and ZDF will broadcast the event live on TV and in media libraries for all four days, ensuring that everyone can be a part of the FINALS 2025, whether they are in Dresden or not.
