Liverpool Football Club has had an eventful transfer window, with several high-profile moves and a record-breaking season to boot.

In a blockbuster deal, Georgi Mamardashvili has joined the Reds from Valencia for a reported £29 million. Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold has departed for Real Madrid for €10 million (approximately £8m/$11m) before the Club World Cup.

Liverpool's attack has also received a boost with the signing of Luis Diaz from Porto for £65.5 million. Armin Pecsi has joined from Puskas Akademia, while Tyler Morton has signed for Lyon in a £10 million move.

Defensively, Liverpool has bolstered its ranks with the signing of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth for £40m. Nat Phillips has also completed a permanent transfer to West Brom.

In goal, Liverpool has confirmed the signing of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt in a £79 million deal. The Reds have also completed a free transfer swoop for backup goalkeeper Freddie Woodman from Preston.

Liverpool has shown interest in signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle, but their latest major signing was the acquisition of the striker, Aleksander Isak, from Newcastle for approximately 145 million euros, finalized at the end of the last transfer period. They also expressed interest in Bradley Barcola from PSG, but he has extended his contract with the French club, so no move materialized.

Liverpool has received a cash boost of £18m from the sale of backup goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford. In a surprising move, Darwin Nunez said farewell to Anfield following the completion of a lucrative move to Saudi giants Al Hilal.

In a direct replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jeremie Frimpong has joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen. Liverpool has also agreed a £116m deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz, subject to medical and personal terms.

As Liverpool enters the 2025 summer transfer window, they do so with significant ambition to strengthen their squad. The Reds will be hoping to build on their record-breaking 20th Premier League title, won in Arne Slot's debut season.
