In the heart of Berlin, our left-wing media house is buzzing with excitement as we gear up for the AGGREGATE Festival. This unique event, focusing on computer-controlled pipe organs in churches and concert halls, is directed by the ensemble gamut inc, who have been at the helm since 2019.
The ensemble gamut inc, founded in Berlin in 2013, is dedicated to contemporary digital music theater, self-developed electro-acoustic music machines, automated pipe organs, and other innovative works. They will be providing a sneak peek into their ambient music series MUSIC FOR AIR at the festival.
One of the highlights of the festival is the participation of Hanno Leichtmann, a renowned musician specializing in electronics and percussion. Known for live performances including works like OUTERLANDS, Hanno will be part of the 5-year anniversary event of Berliner Ensemble gamut inc on September 14, 2025, at the Sankt Hedwigs Cathedral. The festival finale will feature a live performance of Hanno's work OUTERLANDS using a MIDI-capable organ.
