The Regensburg District Office has announced a series of digitalization training sessions aimed at helping seniors acquire basic knowledge for using smartphones and tablets. The training, which is scheduled to begin in September 2025, will consist of individual, theme-based courses.

From the 2nd of September, seniors within the Regensburg District Office's organization can attend a beginner's course focused on smartphones and tablets. The course will take place on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th of September, each day from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The training is free of charge and open to all seniors within the district.

In addition to the beginner's course, the Regensburg District Office will also offer an advanced course for smartphones and tablets. This course, which will take place on Tuesdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, will begin in October 2025. The exact dates for the advanced course are currently unspecified, but it is known that each course day will be limited to 10 participants.

Participants of the advanced course are required to bring their own smartphone and tablet. It is also worth noting that the advanced course is in close cooperation with Maximilian Kreuzer. However, the search results do not provide information about who will be leading the advanced course for smartphones and tablets at the Regensburg district office in September 2025.

The Regensburg District Office's Help in difficult life situations - Care Support Point Plus can be contacted for questions and registration at 0941 4009-531 or [email protected].

It is currently unclear if there will be an intermediate course for other dates or if the training is open to seniors outside of the Regensburg District Office's organization. The training is aimed at seniors from the Regensburg District Office's organization and is focused on digitalization and its advancement in everyday life. The advanced course is not specified to be part of the individual, theme-based courses.
