Inka Bause, the beloved host of "Bauer sucht Frau" and "Bauer sucht Frau International" on RTL, has announced the cancellation of her 40-year music anniversary tour, "40 Years of Music." The tour, which was planned to include live music, a large LED wall, and performances from numerous musicians, was scheduled to kick off on various dates across Eastern Germany.
In an Instagram post, Bause expressed her disappointment over the cancellation, stating that it's not a laughing matter as it is her jubilee tour. She further added that the tour couldn't meet the planned level due to the low number of tickets sold.
The poor ticket sales appear to have been influenced by political statements made by Bause. In a video clip released the day before the 2025 federal election, she called on people not to vote for the AfD. It is not explicitly stated who may have caused Bause to sell fewer concert tickets, but the poor sales ultimately led to the cancellation of the tour, which she criticized as a heavy setback and an emotionally painful experience.
Despite the cancellation affecting all concerts except one on November 7th at the Berlin Admiralspalast, tickets for the Berlin concert are still available. For those who have purchased tickets for other concerts, they can be returned.
Born in Leipzig, Inka Bause began her 40-year career in the music industry and has hosted popular TV shows on RTL. She has not indicated whether she plans to reschedule the tour in the future.
The video showing Bause in a car was posted on her Instagram account, where she also expressed her regret over the situation and thanked her fans for their support. Bause is 56 years old and has a rich and successful career in the music industry, with numerous hits to her name.
