In the past few days, several incidents have taken place in and around Maintal, Ostheim, Hanau, and Nidderau. Here's a roundup of the events and relevant information for the community.

Firstly, a burglary occurred at a residence on Waldstraße, with the suspect forcing open the main entrance door and a lock on a shed. Fortunately, no items were taken, but the total damage was estimated to be around 300 euros. Witnesses to this incident are asked to call the Criminal Police at 06181 100-123.

On the estate near Ostheim, between August 7 at 7 PM and August 8 at 9 AM, multiple onboard computers were stolen from tractors. The perpetrator remains unidentified, though more information may be found through local police reports or regional news outlets covering Ostheim.

In a disturbing incident at Maintal Ost train station on Wednesday evening, two men got into a fight. The older man allegedly sprayed the younger man with an irritant, causing injuries, and the younger man is said to have injured his opponent's hand. Both men are now facing charges of suspected bodily harm.

Elsewhere in Maintal, an unknown driver caused approximately 2,500 euros in damage to a black Audi Q5 on Tuesday evening. The vehicle was parked on Berger Straße, near the 10s house numbers, on the roadside.

To ensure safety at upcoming events, a local safety officer will be present at the senior summer festival in Nidderau. Specific details about the festival were not provided.
