Construction of Route 19 and 89 in Krasnodar to be revised as of September 1st
In the city of Krasnodar, some notable changes are coming to the public transportation system. The Department of Transport and Road Management of Krasnodar has announced that bus movement on Vyezdnaya, Volkov, and Kazadzhiya streets will alter due to repairs, effective immediately.
Two specific bus lines, No. 19 and No. 89, will travel through Vyezdnaya and Nyrkova streets instead. These adjustments have been made to ensure that residents can still easily access School No. 108 and Kindergarten No. 229, as well as nearby homes.
Six new bus stops have been installed to accommodate these changes, making it more convenient for passengers to catch their buses.
In an exciting development, Krasnodar will also become the testing ground for a new autonomous trolleybus. The specific model of the trolleybus has not been disclosed, but the vehicle will be equipped with advanced safety systems, including driver condition monitoring, passenger door entrapment protection, and automatic pole lifting.
The testing of this autonomous trolleybus will take place on unspecified routes within Krasnodar, though no details about the timeline for the testing have been provided. It is also unclear whether the successful testing of this autonomous trolleybus could lead to its implementation in Krasnodar's public transportation system in the future.
One thing is certain, however: the new stops at Vyezdnaya Street, Nyrkova Street, School No. 108, and Kindergarten No. 229 in Krasnodar are expected to be operational in the fall of 2025. The trolleybus, once tested, will turn around to return to Narykova and Vyezdnaya streets, providing a seamless and efficient transportation solution for the city's residents.
The new trolleybus model will also boast floor heating at door platforms and in the area for wheelchair users, ensuring a comfortable ride for all passengers. As Krasnodar continues to evolve and grow, these changes in the public transportation system represent a significant step forward in the city's modernisation efforts.
