Construction work on nearby roads near Dubai International Airport terminals will result in traffic delays this weekend.
Dubai International Airport (DXB) has announced a traffic advisory for passengers traveling to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 between September 5th and 7th. The advisory comes as a result of road works in the vicinity of the airport, which are expected to cause lane closures and potentially impact traffic flow, leading to unexpected delays.
To avoid potential road congestion, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recommends that motorists heading to DXB's terminals 1 and 3 during this period allow for extra travel time. The Dubai Metro offers a convenient and efficient alternative, providing a smooth and timely journey to the terminals.
In addition to the traffic advisory, Dubai airports have implemented a new security system and unveiled a passport-free Red Carpet corridor at the airport. Passengers can sign up for the Daily Briefing to receive the latest news and updates from Dubai Airport.
To ensure a smooth and timely arrival, passengers are advised to plan their journeys to DXB in advance. By allowing for extra travel time and considering the Dubai Metro as an alternative mode of transportation, passengers can navigate the road works period with ease.
