In an unexpected turn of events, officers from the readiness police forces conducted an inspection on Kalker Hauptstraße/Walter-Pauli-Ring in Cologne on the evening of July 28th. The inspection led to the seizure of a Land Rover and a high-performance Mercedes-Benz AMG, as well as the discovery of a PTB weapon in a 19-year-old's Land Rover.

The inspection began around 6:30 PM, with a 27-year-old driver being stopped during the process. A remote control for manipulating exhaust systems was found in his underwear, and he allegedly used it to control the manipulated exhaust system of his Mercedes AMG. The vehicle was ordered to be inspected by an expert.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old driver was also involved in the inspection. At the time, he did not possess a driver's license, which is not the first time he has been in such a situation. The PTB weapon found in his Land Rover was readily accessible behind his seat. This is the first instance of a weapon being found in a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old during an inspection.

A report was filed by officers during the inspection, and the PTB weapon found in the Land Rover was secured by officers of the Bereitschaftspolizei (riot police) during checks of suspicious vehicles. The Land Rover was also seized during the same inspection.

The 19-year-old driver hails from Cologne, and the inspection took place at approximately 10:20 PM. The 27-year-old driver's identity was not mentioned in the earlier bullet points.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and the consequences of non-compliance. The authorities continue to enforce these rules to ensure the safety and security of all road users.
