The municipal debate on environment and traffic, held on August 27, was a lively discussion featuring council candidates from various parties. The event took place in the Kitev hall within the main station of Oberhausen and was supported by "The Perspective Ruhr", a teaching and learning editorial office, as well as Aktion Mensch.

The participating candidates included Silke Jacobs (SPD), Albin Bajric (CDU), Tim Dobnik (Greens), Lion Rudi (Left List), Ulrich Lütte (BOB), Max Baum (FDP), and Florian Hobert (Die Partei). Each candidate was available to answer questions from the audience.
