On Monday, February 10, 2025, two burglaries were reported in the Mettmann district, while another incident occurred over the weekend near Marder Street.

In the morning, between 9:00 AM and 11:10 AM, a burglary took place in an apartment on Düsseldorf Street. The unknown perpetrators forced their way into the victim's house through the rear cellar door, searched the rooms for valuables, and fled undetected. No information on the stolen goods was available at the time of the report, and the estimated property damage is several hundred euros.

Later in the day, between 6:00 PM and 8:20 PM, a burglary occurred in a ground-floor apartment on Rietherbach. The perpetrators, once again unknown, forced their way into the victim's apartment, searched for valuables, and fled on the same route they used to enter, escaping undetected. As with the Düsseldorf Street incident, no information on the stolen goods was available, and the estimated property damage is also several hundred euros.

A third burglary was reported near Marder Street over the weekend, between Friday evening, February 7, 2025, and Monday morning, February 10, 2025. The details of this incident are currently under investigation.

Prior to the burglary on Düsseldorf Street, a man approximately 170 to 175 cm tall with a short black haircut, a three-day beard, and an Arabic appearance is said to have asked for help at the victim's apartment. However, there is no information available about this man's involvement in the burglary.
