The Itzehoe Police Directorate is investigating a burglary that occurred at an educational facility on Waldschlossstraße during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. Approximately 30 copper pipes were stolen from inside two workshop rooms.

The burglars gained access to the workshop rooms between Tuesday, 4:30 PM, and Wednesday, 8:30 AM. The stolen copper pipes were likely transported away from the scene using a vehicle. As of yet, the stolen copper pipes have not been recovered.

Merle Neufeld, the spokesperson for the Itzehoe Police Directorate, confirmed the incident and stated that no leads on the suspects have been found at this time. Witnesses who may have seen something suspicious around the time of the crime are asked to contact the Heider Kripo at 0481/940.

The organization that operates the education and workshop building on Waldschlossstraße is called "Das Paritätische Bildungswerk". The facility is yet to release a statement regarding the incident.

The Itzehoe Police Directorate urges anyone with information regarding this burglary to come forward and contact the authorities. The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
