County Commission Grants Approval to Adjusted Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Consumer Price Index Agreement
Johnson County, Wyoming, has extended its Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Consumer Price Index (CPI) contract with the Wyoming Department of Family Services. The amended contract, which officially took effect on July 1, 2023, is a one-year extension of an existing agreement, as confirmed by Kristin Friedrich.
The total grant amount for this extension is $61,000, with the funds being distributed to three entities, each receiving $18,530. The extension of the contract was the result of discussions held in Johnson County, Wyoming.
Notably, the country contributes just over $5,400 to the grant, making it a significant part of the total funding. The amended contract continues the collaboration between Johnson County and the Wyoming Department of Family Services, aiming to provide essential support to families in need.
