Crash Between Vehicle and Tourist Bus: Resulting Injuries to Five Individuals
In Bochum-Westenfeld, a collision between a car and an unoccupied travel bus resulted in five people being injured on August 30th. The incident occurred around 12:38 PM on Westenfelder Straße towards Bahnhofstraße.
According to the police reports, the car was driven by a 27-year-old Bochum resident with four children, aged between one and seven years old. The tour bus was being driven by a 69-year-old Bochum resident.
One of the injured individuals was severely injured, and the other four sustained less severe injuries. The injured parties were given initial treatment by emergency services before being taken to nearby hospitals for further care.
The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the Traffic Commission. The area where the collision occurred has been closed off to allow for a thorough investigation.
