Crash involving a tram and a car, resulting in the driver's injury.

Yesterday afternoon, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Märkische Allee in Marzahn, involving a tram on line M6 and a Mitsubishi. The accident took place around 4:40 PM, causing significant disruptions to tram services on the line.

The tram was being driven by a 42-year-old woman from Marzahn Promenade, who did not sustain any injuries in the accident. The Mitsubishi was heading towards Marzahn Promenade at the time of the collision. The car was being driven by a 60-year-old man, who was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries other than those mentioned earlier.

The traffic light system was out of order at the intersection of Märkische Allee at the time of the traffic accident, according to reports. The tram and the Mitsubishi were extensively damaged in the accident. The scene was cleared by 7:00 PM, and regular service resumed on line M6.

The investigation into the traffic accident is being handled by a specialized traffic crime unit from Police Directorate 3 (East). The unit is currently investigating the cause of the accident. As of the time of this article's publication, no charges have been filed.

The accident caused considerable disruptions to tram services on line M6, with delays and rerouting of trams being reported. The public is advised to check the latest updates from the Berlin Transport Authority (BVG) for any service changes or disruptions.
