On the night of August 26, 2025, a burglary took place at a residential building in Schützenstraße, Kaltenkirchen. The Police Directorate Bad Segeberg is currently investigating this incident.

According to the latest information from the authorities, two male individuals were involved in the burglary. One of the perpetrators was significantly taller than the other. The shorter individual was under 175 cm and overweight. Both perpetrators were estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old and were masked. They spoke broken German with an Eastern European accent.

The burglary resulted in the theft of high-value wristwatches and 200 euros in cash. Unfortunately, there were no reported eyewitnesses or indications by 02:30 a.m. on August 27, 2025, at the crime scene who observed the perpetrator or provided clues about a vehicle used by the offender.

The Criminal Police of Bad Segeberg are actively investigating the case. Witnesses are still being sought, particularly for any information regarding suspicious persons near the crime scene or possible vehicles used by the perpetrators.
