Google Unveils the 10th Generation of Pixel Phones
Google has announced the launch of its latest smartphones, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL, at the "Made by Google" event on August 20, 2025. These phones are now available for preorder and will hit the stores on August 28.
The Pixel 10 is designed with a modern aesthetic, featuring a satin-finish metal frame, a polished glass back, and a 6.3-inch Actua display. It boasts a significant upgrade with its first 5x telephoto lens on this tier of Pixel. The display is now brighter at 3000 nits and offers exceptional audio with improved bass.
The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL take the Pixel experience to a new level. They come with the ultimate premium design and the best triple rear camera system yet. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL also feature the exclusive Pro Res Zoom, which captures astonishing detail at up to 100x zoom. This is made possible by the largest AI model ever used on Pixel Camera, helping deliver the highest-quality zoom on a smartphone.
All three phones are powered by the Tensor G5 chip and the Gemini Nano model, ensuring snappy performance. The Tensor G5 is the most significant upgrade to our chip since its debut.
To help users improve their photography skills, the Pixel 10 comes with Camera Coach. This feature suggests ways to improve composition and framing, making it an ideal tool for those early on in their photography journey.
In addition to the Qi2 wireless charging, the phones also come with Pixelsnap, enabling magnetic accessories. The phones are also compatible with the Facebook Store and retail partners. Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL owners will receive a full year of Facebook AI Pro.
