Cyclist critically hurt in a solo vehicle collision in Dortmund-Lanstrop

A road accident involving a bus from an unnamed travel company and a cyclist occurred on Dreihausenstraße at around 11:50 AM yesterday.
According to reports, a 56-year-old cyclist lost control of his racing bike due to a wet road surface, crashing into a stationary bus. The driver of the bus, a 42-year-old woman, managed to stop her vehicle in time to prevent further injury.
The cyclist sustained severe but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The cyclist slid into the bus after the collision, causing an estimated damage of 3,500 euros to the vehicle.
The travel bus company has not yet been identified in the reports. The accident is currently under investigation by local authorities to determine the exact cause and any potential contributing factors.
