In an unusual incident reported by the Police Directorate of Lübeck and transmitted via news aktuell, an unidentified man allegedly committed vandalism at a gas station in Lübeck on Wednesday evening, 3rd September 2025.

The incident began at a gas station in Oldenburg/Ostholstein after business hours, where an unknown man attempted to fill up his BMW, but became angry when he was unable to do so. In a fit of rage, the man tore the fuel pump off the hose, spilling a small amount of diesel fuel.

The attendant, who witnessed the incident from the cashier's booth, reported the incident to the police. The man, still holding the torn-off pump, is said to have driven off in an unknown direction with the fuel pump still attached, damaging it.

The extent of damage to the vehicle, if any, is currently unknown. Similarly, the police are yet to ascertain the extent of damage to the fuel pump. The name of the unidentified man who committed the Autogas station vandalism has not been disclosed.
