David Platt discovers a positive pregnancy test in Coronation Street - who is the expectant mother?
In the latest episode of Coronation Street, tensions run high as Carl continues to grapple with financial troubles, struggling to find the money to pay off Tracy. This news doesn't sit well with Kevin, who finds Carl working at the garage and expresses his displeasure.
Meanwhile, the quiet precinct is shaken by a loud crash, as a stolen car, driven by an unidentified pair, speeds past George. Betsy lets out a scream after the crash, causing concern among the residents. It's Betsy's 18th birthday, and the day takes a turn for the worse when she announces that she slept with Dylan the previous night.
David Platt, on the other hand, finds a positive pregnancy test, setting off a chain of events that leaves him intrigued, initially believing it to be Betsy's. However, when Sarah suggests the pregnancy test might be Lily's, David's glee turns to horror. David is sceptical when Lily tells him she has a stomach ache, adding to the mystery.
In a shocking twist, someone has torched the car in an attempt to cover their tracks. The police, led by Kit, are on the case, and they reveal that the car they were looking for has been found.
As if that's not enough, Kevin wants Carl gone by the end of the day, and Carl tells Brody and Dylan he has a job for them. The episode ends with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the next instalment.
