Deadly Car Crash on the Highway
In a tragic incident, a fatal traffic accident occurred on the L382 road between Korschenbroich and Herrenshoff on September 20, at 11:55 AM. The accident involved three vehicles, and despite immediate resuscitation efforts, an 82-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The central traffic accident investigation team of the police in Rhein-Kreis Neuss secured the scene and closed off the area during the investigation. The woman veered into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons, causing the accident.
The public prosecutor's office of the respective jurisdiction will handle further investigations in this case. Meanwhile, the responsible traffic division will take charge of additional inquiries.
