Deborah "Debby" Miller Identified as the Individual in Question
Deborah "Debby" Marie Miller, a cherished resident of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 23, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital. Debby was born in Lancaster to Robert and Doris Gehr and was a proud graduate of the Penn Manor High School Class of 1970.
Throughout her life, Debby had an unmatched love for animals and cared for several pets. She shared this passion with her devoted husband, Mark Miller, whom she bonded with over their shared love for music, concerts, movies, and supporting the New York Jets. Debby is survived by Mark, her son, Robert W. Donohue of Conestoga, PA, her sisters Bobbe, Sandy, and Jill, and her beloved dog, Munson.
Debby is also survived by three beloved grandchildren, Peyton, Meadow, and Zoey, all of Lancaster. The family treasured time spent with Debby, especially their annual family trips to Dewey Beach.
In her early years, Debby devoted herself to raising her son, Robert. She held various roles at Ruof's Flower Shop and worked as a bartender at FOE 84 and the Active Social Club. In her later years, Debby shared her compassion for animals as a dog walker for Once Upon a Dog Tail. However, she did not hold any roles at Speranza Animal Rescue.
A celebration in honour of Debby Miller took place on February 20th, 2025, at the Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Debby's name may be made to Speranza Animal Rescue, 1216 Brandt Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
