Mercedes-Benz Unveils the All-Electric GLC EQ in Spring 2026
In a significant move towards electric mobility, Mercedes-Benz has announced the launch of its all-electric GLC EQ model, scheduled for spring 2026. The vehicle will be produced in Bremen, Germany.
The GLC EQ (2026) boasts a unique design compared to its combustion engine sibling, introducing a new design language. The front of the vehicle is dominated by a suggested radiator grille with three main elements. An optional version of the radiator grille features 942 animated light points, adding a modern and dynamic touch.
The vehicle's wheelbase is 84 mm longer than its combustion engine siblings, providing more legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers. Mercedes has eliminated the center tunnel, further enhancing passenger comfort.
The cockpit of the GLC EQ (2025) houses the fourth generation of the software-based infotainment system MBUX. The highlight is the 39.1-inch large Hyperscreen, offering an immersive and interactive driving experience.
The GLC EQ (2026) is an all-wheel drive SUV and an electric vehicle. It offers a spacious interior, with the trunk capacity ranging from 570 to 1740 liters, and a frunk with a capacity of 128 liters.
