The city of Lippe is gearing up for a special event aimed at supporting children across the region. The Backpack Exchange, organised by the Family Info Meeting (F.I.T) of the city portal and the association Lipper for Lipper e.V., is set to take place on May 3rd at the Detmold City Hall.
This event is open to children from all over Lippe, and will provide an opportunity for primary school children to find a new backpack for the upcoming school year. In addition, school rucksacks will also be available for older children moving on to secondary school.
The Backpack Exchange would not be possible without the support of various community organisations. The sewing project "back and forth" of AGH Hohenloh has prepared the backpacks and the corresponding accessories, ensuring that each child receives a high-quality item. Radio Lippe is also lending its support for the event this year.
For those interested in attending, it is advised to come at 10 am to see the full range of backpacks on offer. Those with questions about the event can contact Daniela Lang, who is the point of contact for inquiries. Her email address is 05231 977 201.
It's worth noting that more than 220 backpacks have been collected for the exchange, ensuring that there will be a wide variety to choose from. For secondary school students, the organisation responsible for the secondary sales of the schoolback sticks on May 3rd in Detmold is called "EventNet Detmold."
The Backpack Exchange is just one example of the community spirit that exists in Lippe. By working together, we can ensure that all children have the resources they need to succeed in school. We hope to see you there on May 3rd!
