Detainment for Drug Smuggling

In the heart of Cologne, Germany, a 27-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, August 14th, on suspicion of drug dealing. The arrest took place around 5:05 PM in the area of Pantaleonswall / Waisenhausgasse.

The police officers, who made the arrest, were investigating a case involving the theft of a bicycle. The suspect, who was considered suspicious by the authorities, was a 34-year-old man from Westerwald. This individual was arrested during a night bicycle theft in Neuwied on the same day.

Upon searching the suspect, the police found several "blubbers" containing crack and several packages of heroin. They also discovered cash, an amount typical of street deal profits, and other evidence of drug dealing.

The arrested individual was previously known to the police for violations of the Narcotics Act. As a result, a criminal investigation has been initiated for the suspicion of receiving stolen goods, in addition to the drug-related charges.

The man is scheduled to appear before a judge today. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
