New Leadership at Didacta Association: Norbert Völker Takes the Helm

After a series of changes, the Didacta Association, a renowned organisation dedicated to education and teaching, has appointed Norbert Völker as its new Managing Director, effective from July 1.

Völker, a seasoned professional with a background in pedagogy, brings a wealth of experience to the table. He has worked in various institutions, both in Germany and abroad, before taking on this new role. Most recently, he was responsible for projects aimed at improving teaching and learning methods in specific university degree programs nationwide at VDMA.

His appointment comes as a change from the previous single-leadership structure. Under Völker's leadership, the Didacta Association will be managed by two Managing Directors, a shift aimed at enhancing the organisation's efficiency and effectiveness. Völker will take charge of the Didacta Association, while Dinah Korb will continue to lead the Didacta Exhibition and Publishing Company GmbH, ensuring that each entity can focus on its specific goals and responsibilities.

Detlef Kleine, Völker's predecessor, has stepped down from his position. The change in leadership signifies a new direction for the Didacta Association, with Völker's expertise in pedagogy and experience in designing innovative teaching and learning processes expected to bring about significant changes.

The Didacta Association and the Didacta Exhibition and Publishing Company GmbH will remain separate entities. This separation ensures that each organisation can continue to focus on its unique mission, fostering a collaborative yet independent approach to education and teaching.

Völker, at the age of 54, is eager to take on this new challenge and looks forward to leading the Didacta Association into a new era of innovation and excellence in education.
