Disco-goer, aged 43, ascends onto the building's rooftop for an overnight stay, later detained by the police.

In the heart of Dortmund, an unusual incident unfolded on August 31 at Phoenix Square. A 43-year-old man from the city found himself in a precarious situation, stranded on the roof of a 20-meter high building.

According to the Dortmund Police, the man was reported as an intoxicated person on the roof at around 4:45 PM. It was later discovered that he had been asked to leave a disco located within Phoenix Square earlier in the day.

The man, under the influence of alcohol and drugs, showed signs of aggression towards officers who were attempting to assist him. In a bid to return to the disco, he attempted to sneak back in via the roof.

Despite the dangerous nature of his actions, two officers from Dortmund Police were able to reach the man using a fire brigade ladder. However, the man continued to be uncooperative even after being transported down from the roof.

As a result of his actions, the man was taken into police custody for sobering up. He now faces charges for trespassing. The identity of the man, however, remains undisclosed.
