In the heart of Niederlahnstein, Mayor Lennart Siefert hosted an engaging event, "Lennart Live," at Bareschesser, where he met with citizens and their beloved Ape. The public consultation saw a great turnout of Lahnstein residents, eager to discuss their concerns.

The poor condition of various streets within the city was a frequent topic of discussion. Residents raised concerns about the blockage of residential parking spaces by external or business vehicles, an issue that was also prevalent in the free parking areas of the city center.

Mayor Siefert thanked the attendees for their constructive suggestions and promised to continue addressing their concerns. He announced that the current road management will remain in place until the end of the year to gather data on traffic flow. This data will be used to develop the future traffic concept, taking into account the needs of local businesses.

The organization responsible for developing a new parking concept in Lahnstein is the civil engineering office (Bauamt) of the city. Mayor Siefert also promised that alongside the traffic management, a new parking concept would be developed to address the parking space issue.

Residents praised the direct exchange with Mayor Siefert and expressed their appreciation for being heard. One resident said, "It's reassuring to know that our concerns are heard." In response to concerns raised by elderly residents and a mother with young children, Mayor Siefert announced that the Old Town Hall will have a barrier-free toilet upon its completion.

The main topic of discussion was the future traffic management in Lahnstein after the completion of the B42 bridge renovation. Mayor Siefert assured a swift inspection of the affected areas and necessary repairs.

Looking ahead, the next public consultation is scheduled for December, providing another opportunity for residents to voice their concerns and contribute to the development of a better traffic management system in Lahnstein.
