Discussion Held Early in Kumhausen for Proactive Aid, Led by KoKi

In the picturesque Landshut district, a roundtable discussion took place on May 8, 2025, in Kumhausen, focusing on support services for expectant parents and families with children aged 0-3. Hosted by KoKi, the event served as a recurring platform for joint exchange and collaboration in the district.

The event, which happens twice a year, brought together professionals from diverse fields such as social pedagogues, educators, family and children's nurses, psychologists, therapists, and more. This diverse group gathered to reflect on their own experiences and discuss practical examples, with the aim of addressing the needs and wishes of (expectant) parents and their children.

Frau Reber introduced the mother care service, while Stefan Ehrlich presented the state-recognized counseling center for pregnancy-related issues at the Landshut Health Department. Franziska Rauschecker, from the Family Care Agency in Muhldorf-Altenmarkt, also shared insights about the services they offer.

Other institutions and professionals working in the "Early Childhood" sector were welcome to participate in these discussions, making them a valuable opportunity for the exchange of ideas about shared challenges.

For more information about the "Round Table Early Help" events, please contact KoKi at the Landshut district office at 0871/408-4970, 0871/408-4971, or 0871/408-4972, or via email at [email protected].

The next meeting is scheduled for November 26, 2025, and while specific information about which institutions and experts from the "Frühe Hilfen" sector will participate is not yet available, it promises to be another valuable opportunity for discussion and collaboration. The counseling center offers advice on financial support for children and families and how to apply for it, making it an essential resource for those seeking guidance and support.
