From Newspapers to VSiN
It's no surprise that Adee has a knack for Serenading sports stories, considering his extensive background in newspapers. From 1993 to 2002, Adee served as the Sports Editor at the Chicago Sun-Times and then the Chicago Tribune.
Later, from 2006 to 2017, Adee delved into digital news and product development roles at the Tribune and its parent company.
In 2017, Adee co-founded and became the COO of the Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSiN). This Nevada-based company has morphed into a sports-media and betting-analysis outlet that's accessible through various formats, including online and on radio stations. Today, VSiN operates from studios in two downtown Las Vegas casinos - Circa Resort and the D Las Vegas.
Both casinos are the brainchild of casino developer Derek Stevens, who's no stranger to the Vegas scene himself. If there's one city that knows how to place a bet, it's Vegas, and with the 2024 Super Bowl set to be played in February at the city's Allegiant Stadium, we can expect things to heat up!

Q: How did the idea for the daily email come about?
A: The VSiN Daily was born shortly after VSiN's launch in 2017. We wanted to showcase what we were doing on air and gather feedback from our viewers and listeners, especially since we were a new startup. As we expanded our programming and website content, the email evolved to highlight the new content. Initially, I tried to delegate the responsibilities, but eventually I took it upon myself, given the late-night/early-morning deadlines and my desire to connect with our highly engaged fans.
Q: What's behind the content mix (personal insights, interesting tidbits, updates on betting odds, links, article and podcast recommendations, etc.)?
A: Since VSiN operates from a Las Vegas casino, I wanted to reflect the unique Vegas sports betting scene and the vibrant characters that drive the industry. Readers get a peek into life in Vegas, and I share tidbits about the Vegas scene along with everything else I think bettors should know to get their day started.
Q: How do you see the daily email evolving over time?
A: Initially, I primarily used the email to promote VSiN's content. However, I plan to include more original reporting in 2023 to take readers behind the Vegas scene and help them learn from the insightful bettors I've had the pleasure of meeting.
Q: In general, what's ahead in the new year for VSiN?
A: We plan to kick off 2023 with a bang by covering the first Super Bowl to be held in Las Vegas at the Allegiant Stadium in February. Stay tuned for exclusive coverage and insights!
