Displaying Innovative Audio and Interface Technologies at IBC 2025 by Studio Technologies
In the world of audio technology, Studio Technologies is making waves with their latest offerings at IBC 2025. The company has unveiled a series of innovative products designed to revolutionize the way we handle audio content.
Leading the pack is the Model 201 Interpreter's Console, a versatile piece of equipment suitable for single- and multi-language applications. This console, on display at IBC 2025, supports Dante and audio-over-Ethernet, making it an ideal choice for off-site or Internet streaming applications.
One of the standout features of the Model 201 is its ability to automatically mute or dim audio content during interpretation, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
Joining the Model 201 are the Model 394 and Model 395, designed to transport one or two contact closures over a standard Ethernet network. The Model 394 supports two general-purpose input (GPI) signals, while the Model 395 provides two general-purpose outputs.
These models, like the Model 201, utilise Dante audio-over-Ethernet media networking technology and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) power, making them lightweight and easy to manage. They are housed in lightweight, aluminium, tabletop enclosures.
Studio Technologies is also showcasing the Model 5682, a high-performance interconnect solution for SMPTE® ST 2110 and Dante audio channels. The Model 5682 is available in two versions: the Model 5682-01 allows up to 32 audio channels, while the Model 5682-02 supports up to 64 audio channels.
The Model 5682 is compatible with the ST 2110-30 standard for PCM audio signals and the ST 2110-10 standard for signal timing on the ST 2110 side, and with the Dante Domain ManagerTM (DDM) software application on the Dante side.
Each model in this lineup comes with a 100BASE-TX (100 Mb/s) Ethernet interface and can be used independently or together, depending on the requirements of the application.
The Model 201, with its advanced functionality not typically provided by "off-the-shelf" interpretation equipment, sets a new standard for interpretation solutions. It allows for the inclusion of various audio content with interpretation audio, making it a comprehensive solution for multilingual applications.
In addition to the Model 5682 ST 2110 to Dante Bridge, Studio Technologies is debuting the Model 394 GPI Interface and the Model 395 GPO Interface at IBC 2025. These new additions promise to further enhance the company's range of audio solutions.
