In a series of incidents, right-wing demonstrators disrupted two live-streamed interviews on German public broadcaster ARD. The first disruption occurred during an interview with AfD chairwoman Alice Weidel on July 20, and a similar incident followed during a conversation with CSU party leader Markus Söder on July 22.

During Alice Weidel's interview, approximately 20 to 30 people attempted to demonstrate, identified as being from the right-wing scene. The protest action was clearly audible in the broadcast, and the demonstrators were reported to have thrown flyers. Other demonstrators fled the scene, but a deployment unit was already on site, allowing for a quick police intervention.

The ARD reported that the summer interview with Markus Söder was recorded without any disturbances, despite the protests. However, around 12:35 PM on July 22, a police intervention occurred on the sidelines of the interview in Berlin's government district. This incident followed the previous protest action during Alice Weidel's interview. Five demonstrators were temporarily detained during the incident.

The far-right Identitarian Movement claimed responsibility for the action on the online platform X, where the group also distributed a video of the action. It is worth noting that the search results do not contain information about the name of the group that gathered on July 22 at 12:35 PM on federal property for a right-wing demonstration, which was later dispersed by police and announced with a homemade video on the online platform X.

The ARD had intensified its security measures after the incident during Alice Weidel's interview, and there is close cooperation between the ARD and the responsible security authorities. The interviews were recorded without any significant disruptions, demonstrating the broadcaster's commitment to maintaining a professional and peaceful environment for its guests and viewers.
